Throughout his professional BMX career, Matt Beringer denied and hid his sexuality. It took a series of personal struggles—including contemplating suicide—for him to come out as gay. This film is a story of self-acceptance and offers a welcoming hand to those who feel excluded in the BMX community.

Daddy-Revision chronicles the life of professional BMX rider and amateur comedian, Patrick Laughlin, also known as ‘Big Daddy.’ Viewers are taken through Patrick’s rise-to-fame from his childhood in Philadelphia, through to his Daddy Vision Youtube videos, debut on Props Road Fools, and appearance at the X Games. This is Big Daddy re-envisioned, but with a timeless message: “Hit ‘em wit’ it!”

Justin Wilgus, a geophysicist and amateur BMX rider, narrates his journey from addiction and homelessness to sobriety and post-secondary education. Though his transformation is extreme, Justin’s story reflects a common experience for BMX riders – reigniting a sense of self when all else feels lost.

Making It takes viewers through the highs and lows of Steve Woodward, a gifted BMX rider whose path to professional stardom was never realized. It explores the elusive recipe for success in BMX and offers a heartfelt look at the universal tale of dreams lost and reimagined. Steve's story speaks to those of us grappling with unfulfilled goals as we learn to embrace the life we have.

BMX draws people in from across the globe, yet many voices remain unheard. A Backpacker’s Guide to BMX in Latin America takes viewers on an immersive trip from Ecuador to Nicaragua to uncover the community spirit that empowers Latino riders.

Full Bloom shares the experiences of women in BMX: The pressure, the doubt, the resistance, and the incredible joy that keeps them riding.
